Cipherspace

Cypherpunks have dreamed for years of a fully encrypted internet. With cjdns and easy to configure internet services, like what we provide with the Enigmabox, this dream comes closer to realization.

Imagine a network, where you plug in your box, and all your services run there, under the table in your living room. Be it an email- or VoIP-server – this box is your internet services provider. There are no more central servers. The communication with the outside world happens via cipherspace - encrypted and decentralized. You control your data, and your communication is protected.

Crypto-anarchism (or crypto-anarchy) is a cyber-spatial realization of anarchism. Crypto-anarchists employ cryptographic software to evade prosecution and harassment while sending and receiving information over computer networks, in an effort to protect their privacy and political freedom.
The challenge of the new cypherpunk movement is to make secure and verified end-to-end encryption accessible to everyone, and turned on by default. (https://pressfreedomfoundation.org/encryption-works)
